This year sees the return of a classic and favorite production to the Averitt Center for the Arts: The Nutcracker Ballet. Join Clara as she battles giant mice, travels through the Land of Sweets and across the Lemonade Sea, and is entertained by the most unlikely of hosts—the Sugarplum Fairy. Delighting the Statesboro community for 11 years, The Nutcracker Ballet has become one of the most anticipated events of the holiday season. Under the direction of the interim Statesboro Youth Ballet Director Taylor Ellen, featuring the Statesboro Youth Ballet and professional guest artists, the 11th anniversary performance of The Nutcracker Ballet will delight and amaze all ages with fresh choreography and beautifully detailed set designs. Watch the magic of one of the most beloved holiday classics come to life onstage this season!
